Probate Court administers and oversees the process of disbursing assets upon an individual’s passing through a will or by virtue of the law which governs how an individual’s assets are to be disbursed. Additionally, Probate Court oversees the decision-making process of those members of society who are no longer capable of handling their own affairs through conservatorships and guardianships. While probate avoidance is often a goal of our clients there are always situations where by choice or otherwise probate court becomes necessary.
